The ShowOur show theme this year is "Party"!
The show is Saturday, December 5th at the Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Doors open--TBA and admission is FREE! Be there NO LATER than TBA (meet on the left side of the Phillips Center). We will be going in as a group at TBA. Again, DO NOT go in without us, we get charged for every extra minute we are inside. We will be putting our stuff down backstage and then meeting on the stage for announcements. For the show, if you are not wearing skin colored tights (or pants), you will not be allowed on stage to perform. Please don't forget them. We are proud to announce that this show's philanthropy will be benefiting the local Field & Fork so please bring canned food! There will be a collection box when you first walk in through the doors! |
1st Dress Rehearsal: O'Connell Center Practice Court (past the pool)
(Time TBA): Please arrive by ________ because we want to ensure that all dances will be able to perform.
• There will be limited space so we are requiring EVERYONE to wear black spandex shorts and black sports bras or a leotard and tights at all times so that you can comfortably change in front of the other members.
• While you are not dancing or changing we ask that you sit off to the sides and keep conversation to a minimum while other groups are performing. You are more than welcome to talk in between performances, but it becomes a distraction to the dancers if it gets too loud.
• Bring all of your costumes, label your costumes, and practice changing your hair!
• We are not requiring make-up, but keep in mind that we will be taking group photos before each routine performs.
• We will be running this rehearsal similar to the show order. Therefore, we will start at the beginning of show order and work our way down to the closing number. (With the exception of a few numbers so pay close attention to the rehearsal order)
• Bring plenty of water and any study material you might need to keep busy while you are waiting.
• Once you have finished running your routines, you may leave.

2nd Dress Rehearsal: Phillips Center
TBA
Be there NO LATER than _______. We will be meeting outside near the back stage door on the left side of the building. DO NOT GO IN BEFORE UNTIL WE HAVE PERMISSION or we will be charged extra for every additional minute!
• You may leave after you have performed all of your routines on the stage. If you are in the second half, you can come later a little later than _______ but don't be so late that you miss your rehearsal!
• You may bring study material and water bottles, but NO FOOD will be allowed in the audience/house area.
• We will not be allowed in the dressing rooms during this rehearsal so please be prepared to stay in the house seats.
• Please wear some make-up to this rehearsal because there will be a lot of pictures being taken.
• If you are wearing ANYTHING but pants, you MUST wear tights!!!!!! This will make everything more streamline and professional. No one wants their behinds hanging out of their shorts for the world to see.
• We would like you to wear your hair as you would for the show so you can practice your changes.
• We will be putting our costumes down and then meeting briefly on the stage for announcements. From there we will be running Bows, then Closer, and then the show from the top of the order (excluding Closer & Bows at the end since those will go first)
• Each dance will run once or twice depending on what the lighting designer wants. This rehearsal is about lighting and other technical aspects and gives you a chance to run through your dance on the stage. The choreographer and lighting designer will meet briefly before their dance to discuss their lighting. PLEASE dance full out since you might only get ONE run through on the stage.
• We will all meet by the stage door located on the side of the building by the loading dock and dumpster. It is the only door that will be unlocked for us to enter through.
